Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft
Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft is a free-to-play online collectible card video game developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment.
Play Warcraft with cards
Each Hearthstone match is a 1vs1 battle between two opponents. Players choose to play as one of nine Warcraft Classes, and then take turns playing cards from their customizable decks to cast spells, use heroic weapons or abilities, or summon minions to defeat their opponent. The objective of Hearthstone is simple: reduce the enemy hero's health to zero before they can do so to you. However, what makes the matches especially exciting is that the game features multiple strategic elements that require high mastery and allow for great tactical flexibility at competitive levels of play.
Despite the game’s focus on accessibility and fast gameplay Hearthstone has enjoyed great success with eSports competitions ever since its release. In 2014 Blizzard hosted the first Hearthstone World Championship at BlizzCon, which featured a $250,000 prize pool. The second Hearthstone World Championship was held at BlizzCon 2015 in November. Apart from official Blizzard events Hearthstone is also the focus of a number of other tournaments, including those hosted by Major League Gaming, StarLadder and ESL.
Hearthstone offers unpredictable competitive matches, where the underdog can easily defeat a tournament favorite. This creates some amazing e-sport betting opportunities, which you can try on gg.bet!
